Update June 23 wit Deborah Firestone Himes - believe this person is Joseph C Bacon who died 1882 per headstone application. Information changed on this date.

Note bronze star marker does cite J c Bacon

Family is in Medina Ohio Mr. Witt bought his burial plot. I could find no marriage and no reason why he ended up in columbiana.

Will continue to locate him and connect with family.

WC Beck’s Civil War pension papers lists his wife the widow Amira and minor child Lucinda Jenkins in New York. I find probate records where WC dies and then I’ll mirror back dies and the guardianship of the minor child Lucinda c beck of 1870 for the child was born in 1866 August
