Obituary:Paul Frederick. Dively, 84, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 in Sebring and was buried in North Little Rock, Ark. where he lived for over 30 years before retiring to Florida.
Mr. Dively was born in Paris in 1924 and graduated from the Paris High School in 1942. He found and married his high school sweetheart, Grayce, on August 21, 1943. They enjoyed going back to Paris to visit with old friends and family and always tried to attend their high school reunions. Paul and Grayce were quite the couple on the “Jitterbug” dance floor and still enjoyed dancing for many years. Soon after they were married, Paul entered the Army during World War ll. He was a proud veteran and received the Bronze Star. Grayce preceded him in in death in 1994 and they are now together once again
Mr. Dively was preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Ester “Gleckler” Dively and one brother Jim Dively. He is survived by his three children all of North Little Rock, Ark., Linda Smith, Phil (Becky) Dively and Paula (Ricky) Hearne; five grandchildren, Stephen Dively, Heath Hearne, Hollie Sandlin, Kevin Smith, and Kristina Redditt; and three great-grandchildren; his brother, John Dively of Charleston; three half brothers, Mike Dively of Champaign, Tim Dively of Mahomet and Steve Dively of Sycamore; three sisters, Kathryn Seaman of Glen Cove, NY, Margaret Davis of Cashmere, Wash. and Helen Carpenter of Champaign.
Mr. Dively was laid to rest with Military Honors on June 3, 2008 at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle, Arkansas.
