Julia Ann “Judy” Ross, 68, of Maumelle, went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2008. She was born on February 1, 1940 to the late Raymond and Rose Marie Hunt. She was employed by and family of ABC Block Company for over 35 years and a dedicated Pleasant Valley Church of Christ family member. She was the widow of Floyd Ross.
She is dearly loved by her son, Steve Ross of Maumelle, Arkansas; her daughter, Lisa Dicus and her husband, Tim of North Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Sgt. Brandon Shaw, in the US Army serving our country in Iraq, Natalie Shaw, Kelsey Ross, Morgan Ross and Nicholas Ross; two great grandchildren, Cole and Lakin; her aunt, Kitty Gray, and her Aunt Ellen Baker who is closer than a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, (501)791-7400. Interment will be at Riverwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
