Jane C. Jones was the wife of Thomas K Jones who immigrated to South Carolina from England. Jane and Thomas Jones were originally buried in the Old Sacramento Cemetery, however, their bones were moved to the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Sacramento, where their bones were buried together.
Jane Keast's family migrated from England, via New Brunswick where she was born, and then ended up in Charleston, South Carolina. Her father John Keast was a shoe / boot maker in Charleston. His first wife, Elizabeth who was Janes mother, died some time prior to 1850, and he married the widow Margaret Joanna Storm in about 1851.
Both Margaret Keast and Jane's sister Elizabeth were buried t the Trinity Methodist Church in Charleston, SC.
