Kenneth P. Collins, age 89,
late of Schererville, formerly of Lansing, IL passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010.

Beloved husband of the late Adeline (nee Fleszewski) for 64 years. Loving father of Patricia (Thomas) Stibich, Michael (Therese) Collins, Elaine (John) Wangercyn, and Thomas (Donna) Collins. Devoted grandfather of 15. Cherished great grandfather of 17. Brother of late Majorie Spring, Joan Mills, and Alyce (Frank) Caruso all of Massachusetts. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Collins was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, WWII. Past Grand Knight and member of the Lansing Knights of Columbus #3540, Former District Deputy, and Faithful Navigator of the Cardinal Stritch Assembly. Past Commander and member of the Russell Square American Legion Post #1006. Past usher at St. Ann Church and St. Michael's Church for 62 years. Retired Postmaster for the United States Postal Service.

Visitation Friday, June 4, 2010 from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from the Elmwood Funeral Chapel
