Emma Belle Kessler, 88, of Memphis, passed away on Friday May 28, 2010, in Pasadena, CA while visiting her daughter. Mrs. Kessler was a retired secretary at Elmore Park Elementary School in Bartlett. She was the widow of William Robert Kessler, Sr. to whom she was married for 67 years. Mrs. Kessler is survived by her son, William R. "Bob" Kessler, Jr. (Bev) and her daughter, Emma Jeanne Kessler-Harris (Gary); 4 grandchildren, Karen Kessler, Billy Kessler, Tommy Person (Ann Marie) and Regina Moore (Cliff); 8 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Bradley, Parker, Zachary, Hannah, Jenna Belle, Emmalisse and Sarah. The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2010, with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be sent to The American Heart Association.
