Beverely Jean Marker, age 76, died Sunday, May 23, 2010 in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor officiating. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Beverly Jean (Smith) Marker was born in Detroit Michigan on January 20, 1934, to Othie N. Smith and Gladys (Winters) Smith. She graduated from Clayton High School in 1952. Beverly worked for Lowes for the last nine years, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Pueblo, Colorado and in Amarillo, Texas. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Oleta Warner on September 10, 2009, 1 son, Kenneth Dale Wiseman in August of 1958 and by 1 brother, John E. Smith on April 15, 1982.

SURVIVORS:

2 DAUGHTERS: Cheryl French and her husband Roy of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Robin Manzaneres and her husband James of Durango, Colorado.

2 SONS: John Kohlman and his wife Patty of Overland Park, Kansas and Roger Marker of Walsenburg, Colorado.

17 Grandchildren

Numerous great-grandchildren

1 SISTER: Anita Kelley of Dalhart, Texas.

3 BROTHERS: Howard Smith and his wife Lydia of Roy, New Mexico, Gerald Smith and his wife Patricia of Fort Worth, Texas and Clifford Smith and his wife Peggy of Tucson, Arizona.

2 very dear friends: Natalie Geary of Amarillo, Texas and Jerry Marker of Walsenburg, Colorado.

And numerous nieces and nephews.
