Ethel V. Boyd Wagner, 79, of Mitchell Road, died at 6:45am, April 1, 1977, in Hill View Manor, after being in ill health for some time.

She was born in New Castle, PA., on Sept. 28, 1897, to the late Norman and Rachel Pemberthy Boyd.

She was a member of Shenango United Presbyterian Church and the Missionary Society, and had taught in the Bible School for a number of years. She was also a former Den Mother of Cubscouts.

Husband: Claude M. Wagner.

Relatives: six daughters, Mrs. Helen (John) Gilkey, and Mrs. Bernice (Virgil) Gibson, both of Tucson, AZ., Mrs. Virginia (Edward) Glidden, Mrs. Eleanor (Rudy) Kwiat and Mrs. Doris (Russell) Glidden, all three of New Castle, and Mrs. Joan (Gerald Edgar of Denver, CO.; two sons, Donald W. Wagner and Kenneth L. Wagner, both of New Castle; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Deceased: two sons, James Wagner and Merle Wagner; a grandson, Russell Glidden; a brother, James Boyd; three sisters, Mrs. Olive Emery, Mrs. Mary Seh and Mrs. Verna Grine.
