Mrs. Louetta Black Dies In Hopsital
Mrs. Louetta Black, 72 years old, 1124 Jackson avenue, died at 4:40 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Freeman hospital. She had been ill two months and a patient at the hospital since Monday. She was the wife of George W. Black.
Born in Wright county, Missouri, Mrs. Black came to Joplin with her family from Cassville 26 years ago. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Esther McClure of Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. Beatrice McCrea of Seattle; two sons, Henry F. Black, 1305 Broadway, and George E. Black of the home; a brother, Ed Monroe of Purdy; a sister, Mrs. Wiliam Dennis of Orange, Calif.; nine grandchildren and four great- grandchildren
The Thornhill-Dillon mortuary will direct funeral arrangements.
