Betty Mae Bauer, 83, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Mansfield Memorial Homes. Born February 7, 1927 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Parker and Esther Mae Roberts Cooperrider. She retired from Mansfield Plating. Betty was a very caring and kind woman.

She is survived by one sister, Helen Cobb of Mansfield; one brother, Robert Cooperrider of Brunswick; her dog, Sadie who was her baby; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl P. Bauer; one brother, Donald Cooperrider; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2010 at Mansfield Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Mel Schroeder. Friends may call from 9 to 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Mansfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
