Beginning in 1792, they had eleven children. The last was born after Ezekiel came back from his war service. They are: Simeon, Silas, Charlotte, Kate (or Caty), Timothy, John, Edya, Hiram, Warren, Lorenzo and Charles.

Ezekiel enlisted as a Private, 17 Oct 1813, discharged 6 Dec 1813. Capt James Farmer's Co., Lt Col. M. Nichol's 3rd Regt, stationed at Jordan's Point and Portland. Re-enlisted 8 Sep 1814 discharged as a Corporal 20 Sep 1814. Capt. Alpheus Field's Co., Lt. Col. Josiah Hobb's 1st Regt.
