Julian H. (Pike) Ginder, 62, well known resident of Olney Rt. 2, passed away this morning at the Richland Memorial Hospital where he was admitted yesterday afternoon.

Mr. Ginder was born in Vincennes, the son of Henry Ginder and Clara Kocher Ginder. He had lived in Richland County most of his lifetime. He was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Stringtown, and was married to Mary Kocher on January 9, 1946.

He was a veteran of World War II and served as a member of the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Olney Council No. 1353, Knights of Columbus.

He leaves his wife Mary and the following children: Sgt. Henry Ginder USAF now serving in Iceland, PFC Richard Ginder now serving with the U.S. Army in Vietnam, Leo Ginder, Nadine Ginder, Laurence Ginder, Edwin Ginder and William Ginder all at home. He also leaves his
mother Mrs. Clara Ginder of the Stringtown community and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Leo (Theresa) Doll of Olney, Mrs. Lawrence (Alma) Hahn of Peoria, Austin Ginder of Dundas, Mrs. Joe (Roseanna) Doll of Greely, Colo., Mrs. Bernadette Wright of Indianapolis, Ind., Alvin
Ginder of Olney, Carl Ginder and Mrs. William (Rita) Stobaugh both of Indianapolis, Ind. His father Henry has preceded him in death.

Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home.
