The marriage license indicated William was from Caldwell County which borders Burke County, North Carolina. This would make him the son of George Washington Holloway and Mary Ann Colett Holloway. Ancestry shows a daughter Colette Collins Holloway who died in infancy which would be a combination of William and Minnie's mothers' maiden names.

However, this couple has a son William Calvin Holloway already linked whose marriage license shows him from Craven County as is his betrothed, Sarah Magnolia Butler. I feel strongly that this is an incorrect link but can't find his 1880 US Census in Craven County. He had a witness of Elizabeth Powell on his marriage license who may be a person of interest.

While researching Minnie's mother I found a strong connection between her family and Arkansas. Memorial #45485020 is a possibility for William Holloway if a link could be made back to Caldwell County, North Carolina from other Holloways buried in this cemetery.

Minnie's 1900 US Census shows her widowed living in South Carolina, but her 1912 death certificate shows her married/divorced.
