John T. Oliver Died Suddenly Last Evening
The death of John Theodore Oliver occurred at his home 636 Fourth street last evening at 7:45 o'clock due to a stroke of apoplexy, following serious heart trouble. He was taken ill yesterday morning and going to a local physician became so ill he had to be taken home.
He was formerly street car conductor in Springfield and came to Lincoln during chautauous, since when he has been motorman on the Woodlawn cars. His wife died two years ago and he leaves a little child aged 4 years.
John Theodore Oliver was born in Mt. Pulaski Oct 17, 1884 and was 34 years of age. His parents who survive him are Mr. and Mrs. James F. Oliver of 636 Fourth street, with whom he lived.
The following brothers and sisters survive him: William H., Burel F., of Springfield; James N., of Chicago, Roy L., of Bloomington; Harry E., of Davenport, Iowa., and Mrs. Bertha Staley of Springfield. Funeral service have not been arranged.
