Married to Alfred Osgood Currier who, along with "cousin" John Ball and others formed the Grand Rapids Lyceum of Natural History in Dec 1854. He first served as one of three original Curators of Collections. This Society was a predecessor of The Grand Rapids Public Museum.

Moved to Grand Rapids sometime between 27 Jun 1850 and 27 Jun 1851 from Anna (CURRIER) PUTNAMs Obituary says 1851 when Anna was but 3 years old.

Figuring Deborah wasn't pregnant when they removed to GR Jul-Aug 1850 would have been a good estimate.

from Ebenezer Morris BALL letter dated Nov 10, 1850 Eben states Messrs. Currier and Heath arrived in Grand Rapids some five weeks earlier. (Early-October 1850)
