Chester Lee Fields, 57, Sarasota, died Jan. 3, 2005. He was born Feb. 11, 1947, in Chicago and came to Sarasota six years ago from Stone Mountain, Ga. He was a computer network engineer and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Chet enlisted in May of 1967 and seperated May 1975. He attended First Nazarene Church. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Linda G.; sons Steven R. of Sarasota and David L. of Columbus, Ga.; nine half brothers and sisters; and a grandson. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. Services and burial will be in Indiana.
