Kathryn D. Baldocchi, 85, of Libertyville, formerly of Mundelein, died Friday, January 17 in Manorcare Health Center, Libertyville.
She was born January 28, 1911 in Chicago and had lived in the Libertyville/Mundelein area since 1920.
She was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Libertyville and a former member of Santa Maria del Popolo Parish, Mundelein. For more than 7 years, she had served as assistant coordinator for Catholic Charities at the Libertyville Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by her daughters, Dolores (Edward) Skehan of Mundelein and Kathy Pipes of Libertyville; her son, Bert (Angie) Baldocchi of Libertyville; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters & 2 brothers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 1969.
Funeral services will be 9:30 am Monday, January 20 from McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Pl., Libertyville, to St. Joseph Church for funeral Mass at 10 am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove. Visitation 3-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Masses in Mrs. Baldocchi's memory would be greatly appreciated.
