DEATH OF SENATOR WASHBURN.
Portland, Me., July 11. - Hon. Chas. Fox Washburn, of Minnesota, son of the late Ex-Governor Washburn, died here to-day. Age 35 years.
[Mr. Washburn resided at Herman, Grant county, Minn., where he was in business as a banker. He came to Minnesota in 1873, and was an energetic, enterprising man. He was a member of the present state senate, and in politics a Republican. He had been in poor health for sometime, and his death was not entirely unexpected. He was unmarried. Recently he had been embarrassed in his business affairs, but it was understood that he was about bringing them to an adjustment.
