Strickland - Barker
Saturday afternoon, October 6th, Miss Winona Strickland and Mr. Harley Barker called at the home of the officiating minister, Arthur Stookesberry, and were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. They were accompanied by Miss Vesta Strickland, a cousin of the bride, and Mr. L. L. Greiner. In the evening a three course wedding supper was served to about thirty five guests at the home of the bride's parents. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Strickland of near Floris, and is an accomplished young lady. The groom is a son of Mr. John T. Barker of Union Township. He is an industrious young farmer and there is no doubt but that they will make good in their home making career. We wish for them all the joys of life that theirs may be a home in every sense of the word. Fot the present they will live with the groom's father where he is farming.
