Albert Joseph "A.J." Adams, a resident of Bueche, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2003. He was 69 and a native of White Castle. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

Survived by his wife of 36 years, Lula Budd Adams, Bueche; a daughter, Elaine Adams Daigle, White Castle; four sons, Albert Joseph "Teedee" Adams Jr., White Castle, Kenneth Paul Adams, Plaquemine, John Quincy Adams, Gonzales, and Brent Joseph Adams, Bueche; a sister, Edna Adams Sanchez, White Castle; and eight grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Guss and Emila Settoon Adams; a brother, Edward Adams; and a sister, Mable Callagan.
