Martha Evelyn Bailey was my aunt. I never met her but from family and pictures I can tell she was a pretty girl who enjoyed life. She was born March 21, 1911, Lewis County, WV, fourth child, fourth daughter to Samuel Henry Bailey and Amy Bessie Lovett Bailey.
She worked in a glass factory and at the time of her death she was engaged to be married.
Aunt Martha died on January 20, 1937 in Weston, Lewis County, WV of a ruptured appendix. She was 25 years, 10 months,29 days. She is buried at Gee Lick Cemetery, Lewis County, WV
