ANDERSON- Clara F. Sweitzer, 85, **** Alexandria Pike, died March 9, 1997, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 30, 1911, in Glen Springs, Ky., and lived in Anderson the past 55 years. She was the owner/operator of the 67 Dinette Restaurant for 18 years. She did practical nursing after the sale of the restaurant in 1973.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Bernice Sweitzer Crull of Anderson; grandchildren and spouses, Terri and Carl Schleuder of Novi, Mich., Cindy Ripberger of Anderson, Julie and Gene Clevenger of Frankton, Michael W. and Carla Crull of Pendleton, and Lori and Eric Brown of Indianapolis; and 10 great-grandchldren.
Her husband, Henry J. Sweitzer died June 2, 1972.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home. Vigil service will be at 5 p.m.
