Richard Hiscock's parents are Samuel HISCOCK (HESCOCK) (1729-1801)and Sarah KIMBALL (1728-1796).

Married Sarah CODY (1763-1844) on 16 Nov 1780 in Milford, Worchester, Massachusetts.
They had the following children:

Lucinda HISCOCK (1785-1820)
Mary HISCOCK (1792-1873)
Richard HISCOCK (1797-1889)

This pensioner lived with Luther Hiscock in 1840, and was grandfather of ex-Senator Frank Hiscock He was enrolled among the Mass. troops and was an early settler in Pompey, though the name appeared in Wardsborough, Vt., in the census of 1790. A family history says that he "served during the entire period of the Revolutionary War," and came to Pompey at its close. He had children born there, and was himself born at Hopkinton, Mass., Sept. 15, 1758. In the same place, July 7, 1763, Sarah Cody, his wife, was born, and they were married Nov. 16, 1780. He bought 100 acres on lot 27, Dec. 10,1794.

Richard Hiscock - Served as a private through the war, soon after which he moved from Massachusetts to Pompey, where he was an early settler. In 1840 he was eighty-one years old and lived with [son] Luther Hiscock. He had a son Richard, father of Frank Hiscock, of Syracuse.
