New Boston, Texas-- Charles Lee Forrester, 81, of New Boston, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at his home.
Mr. Forrester was born January 2, 1929, in Goodsprings, Ala. He was the owner of Forresters Meat and
Locker Plant, retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of First Baptist Church and a Korean War Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Frances Forrester of New Boston; three daughters and sons-
in-law, Sandy and Curtis Olson of Maud, Texas, Kathy and Greg Mason of Frisco, Texas, and Charlotte
and Joel Brandhorst of Belem, Brazil; one brother, Wiggs Forrester of New Boston; nine grandchildren;
and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, New Boston,
with the Rev. Ken Cox officiating. Burial will be in Red Bayou Cemetery, under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made
to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 506 S. McCoy Blvd., New Boston, Texas 75570.
