Edythe M. Freis, 74, of 20 Fremont St., Kiel, died unexpectedly Monday morning, June 10, 2002 at her home.
She is the former Edythe Marie Sieling, born March 1, 1928 in Kiel, daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret Eigenberger Sieling. Edythe attended Kiel High School. On May 13, 1944 she married Lowell Freis in Kiel. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and the Christian Women's Society. Her husband Lowell preceded her in death on Feb. 29, 1991.
Survivors include her children and grandchildren; Gary of Sheboygan and his children, Bradley Freis, Angela Bowe, Brett Loebel, Monique, Joshua, Brianna, Maria, Isaiah, Micah & Clarissa Freis; Cheryl Borneman of Fond du Lac and her daughter, Samantha; daughter-in-law, Cathie (Don) Baer and daughter, Nicole Freis; Randal & Valerie Freis and daughter, Alayna; Ted Freis; Dean & Brenda Freis and daughter Sydney and Heidi (Robert Jr) Werdeo, all of Kiel. She is further survived by brother-in-law, Dalhardt (Judith) Freis, Kiel, sister-in-law, Gloria Sieling, California and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey, one sister, Dolores Bahr, one brother Fredrick Sieling and a special friend Clara Oesau.
