Scott was a student at Richard E. Byrd Jr High at the time of his death. He had just finished the 8th grade.

Scott was a quiet boy who liked Pink Floyd, AC/DC, skateboarding, motorcycles, and licorice whips. He was a good friend to a small circle of friends who stayed together throughout the years. He was honest, sincere, and destined for great things, but his life was cut short by the actions of a careless person with no regards for life. He was killed by a hit & run who never stopped. All of Scott's friends love him and still miss him! We know he's still with us in spirit.

"Just Yesterday"

Just yesterday
I lost a good friend.
Just yesterday
I thought the crying would never end.
Just yesterday
We were laughing and having lots of fun.
Just yesterday
I didn't know this day would come.
Dear Lord, take care of this sweet boy.
Dear Lord, treat him with tender care.
Oh my, I'm gonna miss him so.
Oh my, it won't be the same without him.
Just yesterday
One of my good friends passed away.
Just yesterday
I was trembling and didn't know what to say.
Just yesterday
I always thought I would see you.
Just yesterday
I said...
Isn't it funny how you lose the ones
You thought would always be there.
