Guy Junior Brown, 70, of Rogers, died Sunday, June 6, 2010, at his home. He was born June 24, 1939, in Rogers to the late Christopher Columbus Brown and Nancy Ellen Swadley Brown.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from PLP in Rogers. Guy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially, spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of God's Lighthouse Church in Bentonville.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Delores Cotton Brown; one son, Lloyd Brown of Rogers; one daughter, Monica Faye Nyberg of Florida; one brother, Walter Brown of Seligman; and one sister, Alberta Cannady of Seligman. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Tanna, Terissa Jo, Roger, Rashele, River, Riya, Rylee and Renna; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastor Leroy Morton officiating.

Burial was at Rogers City Cemetery.
