Nile Evan Humble was born to Edith Flora Kearsley and John Scott Humble, Sr. in the old Humble homestead. At a very young age, Nile became very sick and died of spinal meningitis at the age of 20 months old. His family was devastated. No one, besides his immediate family and one neighbor attended his funeral. They all thought spinal meningitis was contagious. Edith, Scott, and their children greatly missed their little Nile. He was buried in the Victor Cemetery in Victor, Teton, Idaho.
