George Landon, 93, of 6404 South Tacoma Avenue, died Thursday in a local hospital. Born in Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County) Michigan, on September 22, 1870, he came to Tacoma in 1928.
He was a retired furniture builder.
Survivors include his wife, Ida E., a daughter, Mrs. Martha Ryan of Tacoma; two sons, Leland of Wilsonville, Oregon and Arthur of Puyallup, Washington; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services are announced today by the Dryer Mortuary and interment will take place at the Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup (Pierce) County, Washington.
