Ella Mae LeSueur - JOHNSON CITY
Ella Mae LeSueur, 80, of Johnson City, passed away Monday, June 7, 2010.
She was born in Church Hill, TN, but lived most of her life in Johnson City.
She was a daughter of the late Edd Lee Ketron and Molly Hickman Ketron. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dayton LeSueur; three brothers, Bill Ketron, Garnie Ketron and Homer Ketron; two sisters, Ethel Christie and Elsie Reed.
Ms. LeSueur worked for the Johnson City Medical Center for 31 years and attended Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Larry Dayton LeSueur and wife, Judy, of Jonesborough; two daughters, Brenda Faye Campbell and husband, Jim, of Johnson City, and Linda Kay Ayers, of Johnson City; seven grandchildren, Gene Allen Wishon and wife, Robin, Michael Lee Wishon and wife, Melanie, Jeremy Dayton LeSueur, Larry C. LeSueur, Kim Sams and husband, Bill, Kathy Ayers and Jimmy Ayers; sixteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
The graveside funeral service for Ms. LeSueur will be conducted on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at 11 AM in Oak Hill Cemetery in downtown Johnson City with Rev. Paul Crowe officiating. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM on Thursday to proceed to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Dayton LeSueur, Michael Lee Wishon, Michael Wishon Jr., Jeff Thompson, Wayne LeSueur and Bill Sams.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 9, 2010, from 6 PM until 8 PM in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Northeast Tennessee Chapter, 207 N. Boone St. Johnson City, TN 37604.
