Marvin Earl Tignor, Sr., age 49, of Rice, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at his home in Rice, Texas. He was born February, 28, 1961 in Ennis, Texas to Troy Leonard and Mary Frances (Cook) Tignor.
Marvin married Charlene Rochelle Carter on June 26, 1996 in Rice, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Charlene Rochelle Tignor; children, Marvin Earl Tignor, Jr. and Brittany Rochelle Tignor, all of Rice; mother, Mary Frances Cook of Rice; brother, Curtis Tignor of Rice; and sister, Mary Len McClure of Bardwell.
He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Leonard Tignor.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2PM Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis with Brother Gains Garland Melton, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Rice Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home at 800 S. Kaufman in Ennis.
