Clarence was born to Clarence Sr. and Helen Schifeling Beckert on Aug. 7, 1937, in Peoria, Ill. They preceded him in death.
He also was preceded in death by one brother, Frederick Beckert.
Surviving are his brother, Clifford (Doreen) Beckert of Peoria; and one sister, Dorothy McIrvindor of Chillicothe, Ill.
Clarence worked for many years at Caterpillar Inc., retiring in 1998.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church for many years.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Peoria, Ill.
