Mrs. Stillwell was born Ellen P. West on April 6, 1908, in Norton County. She lived in Beloit from 1948 to 1961 and moved to Hoxie in 1961, returning to Beloit in 1961. She was a homemaker and a member of the Willow Springs Church of Christ, Beloit, and the Z.C.B.J. Lodge, Glasco.
Her first husband, Charles Yager, died in 1945, and her second husband, Grover, died in 1981.
Survivors include four sons, Roger Yager and Kenneth Yager both of Minneapolis; Charles Yager of Mission and Joe Yager of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Mary Beth Slaven of Shawnee; three sisters, Mary Studer of Beloit, Frankie Gladow of Manhattan and Mabel Grove of Edgar, Neb.; a stepson, Maurice Stillwell of Hoxie; three stepdaughters, Maxine Hoey of Grand Junction, Colo., LaVerne LaRue of Stockton and LaVada Campbell of Colby; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the McDonald Funeral Home, Beloit, The Rev. Ed Crowley officiating. Burial will be in Bohemian National Cemetery, Glasco.
Memorials may be made to the church. Visition will be at the funeral home.
