Funeral services for Mrs. Leona Lee Scott Quattlebaum, age 88, were held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 1984 in Robertson Chapel of Memories with Rev. Paul Heil, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in Citizens Cemetery with the arrangements under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Quattlebaum died at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 1984 in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. She was born February 6, 1895 in Bryson, Texas and been a resident of Donley County for 67 years. She married Walter Carl Scott on April 9, 1911 at Perrin, Texas. He died in 1968. She married Elliott V. Quattlebaum on February 8, 1972 at Memphis, Texas. He died in 1975. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarendon.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Zelma Hefner of Amarillo, Mrs. Letrous Harlan of Amarillo, Mrs. Inez Kulaka of Hollywood, California, Mrs. Gaynell Barker of Amarillo; two sons, Chester Scott of Amarillo, Billy Scott of Amarillo; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Casket bearers were Lacy Noble, F.O. Hodge, Gene Alderson, Bill Mooring, Billy Goodman, and Joe Lovell.
