William Wyatt Waller, 72, retired hardware merchant, died Sunday at Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson where he had been a patient for three days.
Masonic funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, at First Baptist Church in Durant with Rev. Ed McDaniel, assisted by the Rev. Durell Makamson, officiating. Interment was in Mizpah Cemetery with Southern Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Waller was a mason and an active member of the First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Laura Reed Waller; a son, W.R. Waller of Homstead, Fla., four brothers, J.R. Waller of Marks, Homer Waller and W.T. Waller of Yazoo City, and T.M. Waller of Starkville, two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Beyer of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Cindy Mae Dell of Memphis, Tennessee.
Pallbearers were the Masons.
