ALBERT E. HODSDON
Yarmouth, Dec. 22 - Albert E. Hodsdon, 81, died tonight in his home, 32 South St., after a long illness. He was born May 12, 1873 in North Yarmouth, son of Rueben T., and Mary A. Johnson Hodsdon. Mr. Hodsdon came to Yarmouth in 1923 and had worked as a contractor and builder until his retirement in 1952. He had served as selectman in Yarmouth and North Yarmouth and had represented those towns in the Legislature. He was a member of Casco Lodge, F. and AM. Winnegance Chapter, OES. and a member of the Central Universalist Church of Yamrouth. He also had served for many years as a trustee of North Yarmouth Academy. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Susie B. Hodsdon; four sons, Arthur K., Robert J., and Richard H. Hodsdon, all of Yarmouth,a dn Albert E. Hodsdon Jr. of Rumford; a sister, Mrs. Adelaide Wilder of Petersham, Mass., and ten grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Lindquist Funeral Home, the Rev. Barron F. McIntrie officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, North Yarmouth.
