Reuben M. Allard, 96, a lifetime resident of Noble died at 10:50 p.m. Monday February 14, 1977, at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Born in Noble, May 1, 1880, he was the son of Sylvenuf and Hannah Brown Allard. He was married to Lola Eagleton June 1907 in Noble. She died in 1920

Mr. Allard was a 50-year member of the Noble Masonic Lodge, the Lions Club of Noble, the Eastern Star, Noble, and the Knights Templar and Royal Arch, Olney. He was past master of the Noble Lodge, and was a member of the Noble United Methodist Church.

He is survived by sons, Gerald and Merle Allard, both of Noble; a brother, Clarence , Bridgeport; a sister, Mrs. Clara Ewing, Bridgeport; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday at the Noble United Methodist Church with burial in Noble Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at the Cardascio Funeral Home, where Masonic services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
