"E. Lee Edwards, a former resident of Butte for many years and widely known salesman, died Feb. 7 [1932] at Seattle, according to word received here yesterday. He was the son of a pioneer Helena family and spent most of his life in this state. He moved to the coast about 10 years ago.
"While in Butte a year ago on a visit he sustained a severe fall and was compelled to remain here under a doctor's care. He returned to the coast last spring where he resumed his duties as a salesman.
"Funeral services were held at St. Ann's church on Feb. 10. Interment was in Seattle. He is survived by a niece, Mrs. Mary Ames; a grand-niece, Josette Ames; and a brother, Frank Edwards of Helena."
