Sierra Sue Darrow, daughter of Arthur and Marie Darrow, was born November 24, 1940 at Glasco, Kansas. She was taken to the St. Joseph Hospital at Concordia, Kansas, March 20, 1949, where she passed away April 12, 1949, at the age of 8 years, 4 months and 18 days.

She was so kind and loving and thoughtful and enjoyed life so much. She enjoyed her school work and in her three years of school was absent only half a day until her present illness. She never complained and when asked how she felt, always answered a cheery "OK". She always thought of others and tried to make it easier for those around her.

Surviving are her parents, Arthur and Marie Darrow and one brother, Robert LaVerne; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Srna of Delphos, Mrs. Josephine Darrow of Glasco and a great grandmother, Mrs. Anna Yager of Glasco. Also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Services were conducted by Rev. W. Clyde Wolfe at the Presbyterian Church April 14, at 2:00 p.m. Interment was made in the Bohemian Cemetery. Pallbearers were Margaret Krizek, Donna Krizek, Joyce Schlehuber, Jenno Schlehuber, Burton Studt and Howard Studt.
