Lucy Smith was born September 11, 1907 in Jackson County and departed this life Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Jackson Manor in Annville, being 103 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Eli & Clara (Hellard) Angel.
Lucy is survived by six children: Birdie Sams & Myrtle Sams both of Richmond, IN, Bill Smith & Keith Smith both of McKee, Phillip Smith of AZ and Joyce Crowl of Port Charlotte, FL. She is also survived by three sisters: Ann Parrett of Cincinnati, OH, Fannie Pendergraft of McKee and Linda Alexander of Waynesville, OH. Lucy was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral service was held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Lakes Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Seven Pines Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
