Timothy Lee Adkins age 44 of 1489 Cooksburg Road Chatham, VA died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Danville Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 5, 1966, in Pittsylvania County, the son of the late Thomas Lee Adkins and he is survived by his mother Linda Sue Walden Adkins of Chatham.
He is also survived by one brother, Brian Adkins of Chesapeake and one sister, Kimberly Adkins Schmidtmann of Dendron, VA; paternal grandmother, Edda Osborne Adkins of Chatham and his maternal grandmother, Bessie Freeman of Chatham
Funeral services will be conducted at the Scott Funeral Home Chapel on Friday June 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Leo Johnson and Mr. Curtis English, officiating. Burial will be at New Bethel Church of The Brethren Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 7:00 PM till 8:30 PM and at other times will be at the residence.
