Mr. A. G. Stubbs, a highly respected citizen, died at his home at Brighton Tuesday at 12:40 p. m., at the age of 61 years. Mr. Stubbs had been ill for about three months and his death was not entirely unexpected. He was a very prominent member of the Masons and Knights of Honor orders, with which honors he was buried. The funeral, conducted by Rev. W. R. Ivey took place yesterday at 2 o'clock p. m.
Mr R. A. Stubbs, son of the deceased, who has been in Cuba for some time was expected to arrive in time for the funeral.
