He was born Dec. 15, 1925, in Houston, Miss., the son of Willie Lee and Vera Thomas Crawford.
Mr. Crawford, a veteran of World War II, was employed by the Neeman Foundry for five years. He also worked for John Deere Co., retiring in 1988 after 35 years of service.
Survivors: Son, Zeddie Crawford Jr. of Springfield; three daughters, Mrs. Rahman (Rasheedah) Ali and Loujean and Delores Crawford, all of Springfield; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Willie Lee Crawford of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: noon Thursday, Second Timothy Baptist Church, with Dr. Richard B. Maye officiating.
