Cora Hall, 75 of Vandalia, died at 7:25 Wednesday, April 13,1977 in Sunnydale Acres Care Center, Vandalia. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Beery and Hohlt Funeral Home, Vandalia with Rev. Max Cook of Herrick officiating. Burial was in Independence Cemetery, near Vandalia.
She was born Oct.31,1901 in Fayette County, daughter of Althus (should be Alpheus) and Mary Boaz. She was a member of Independence Church of Christ, Ramsey. She married John Henry Hall on July 29,1926 in Vandalia.
Surviving are stepson John Hall of Des Moines, Iowa; stepdaughters Mrs. Genevieve Casper, Mrs. Mildred Benefiel and Mrs. Julia Collins, all of Des Moines, Iowa; brother Rollie Boaz, of Salina, Kan.; ten grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. One stepdaughter preceded her in death.
