SGT. CECIL MOORE HOME ON FURLOUGH
M. Sgt. Cecil Moore of the U.S. Army stationed at Brazil is spending his furlough at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leander Moore at Franklin. Sgt. Moore and his parents spent the weekend at Houston. They attended the funeral services for his uncle Boyd Moore, 72, held in Houston Monday.
Mr. Moore died at his home Thursday of a heart attack. He was a former resident of Henry Prairie, having moved to Houston in recent years.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Addie May Moore, of Houston, two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Rogers of Houston and Mrs. James Marshall of Carthage, sons, Alfred, Jessie, Billy Eugene, Tom D. Moore of Houston, Elmer Moore, Pasadena, Alvin Boyd Moore, U.S. Army, Germany.
