Marguerite Hermine (Schopf) Kehoe
Marguerite Hermine (Schopf) Kehoe, 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed to her Lord on August 20, 2000. Marguerite was born on July 3, 1923 in Spokane, Washington where she was raised, the youngest of eight children. In 1946 she married Curtiss Kehoe and they moved to Seattle where Curt entered the lumber business and they started raising their family. In 1950 they moved to Lynnwood, Washington and in time became co-owners of Lumbermen's of Lynnwood. She also worked for a number of years as a dental receptionist for Dr. Paul Burke in Edmonds, Washington. Following Curt's retirement in 1980 they moved to Mukilteo, Washington and enjoyed traveling to many lands. They bought a second home in Tucson, Arizona and enjoyed spending the winters there, golfing and traveling. They were long time members of the Everett Golf and Country Club. Curt preceded her in death in 1998. She is loved and missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Kay Kehoe in Monroe, Washington and Ken and Jan Kehoe of Port Orchard, Washington. Also her grandson and wife, Patrick and Masha Kehoe of Phoenix, Arizona; her granddaughter and husband, Raina and Scott Ballou; and great grandchildren, Mina and Collin of Arlington, Texas. She is also loved and missed by her brothers, Joe and Larry Schopf and her sisters, Francis Schopf and&qf& Veronica Sweeney and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. A Mass and Memorial reception will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2000, at the Holy Rosary Church, 630 7th Ave. North, Edmonds, Washington. Remembrances can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund or a charity of your choice. Arrangements, Beck's Funeral Home, Edmonds.
