He was a retired taxi cab driver and dispatcher of 50 years. He also had a 2nd career working with carnivals that came to town.
He was first married to Effie Z. Smith and then later on to his 2nd wife Opal Grubb. He had many children. And upon his death he had at least 44 grand children!
