DEATH OF JOHN F. BENNETT
He Dies on Sunday Morning from Typhoid Pneumonia
John Frederick Bennett was born in St. Joseph county, Michigan, August 13, 1849, and died in Eugene, Oregon, December 23, 1906, and his age was therefore 59 years, 4 months and 10 days.
Thirty three years ago he married Martha R. Beebe at Central City, Nebraska. His wife and seven children survive him. All of the children except one son, who is in Nebraska, reside in Eugene.
The family mover to Eugene from Junction City, Oregon, last June. Mr. Bennett had been afflicted with pulmonary trouble for some time, but the end came through a severe cold contracted last Tuesday, which developed into pneumonia and caused his death on Sunday morning.
The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. D. H. Trimble at 10 a.m., December 25, at the family home, 730 Patterson street.
