---Henry W. Dale, 85, of Waterloo, Iowa, and former resident of the Elmer area, died Thursday, March 28, 1991, at the Ravenwood Health Care Center following a short illness.
---Funeral services were held Monday, April, at the Garden View Chapel in Waterloo. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
---He was born Nov. 6, 1905, in LaCrosse, the son of Thomas W. and Mary Ellen Carpenter Dale. He married Cleo Dell Sams on Sept. 7, 1928, in Keokuk.
---Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Juanita P. Hansen, Glenita O. Vroman, and Nola S. Fagerlind, all of Waterloo, a sister, Mabel Morton of Menlo, and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
---He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lewis, George and Leonard, and two sisters, Effie Kittsmiller and Nola Davidson.
---Before his retirement in 1967 he worked for both Sears and Hurwich Furniture Store.
