Funeral services for Freddie Ray Anderson, 53, of Baxter were conducted Monday May 14 from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Compton, Bro. Johnny Hester, and Bro. Robert Hall officiating.

Burial was in Cookeville City Cemetery. (This is incorrect).

Mr. Anderson died Saturday May 12, 1989 at his home in Baxter. He was the owner of the Anderson Insurance Co., Baxter, and the son of the late Fowler Davis Anderson and Mary Elizabeth Hall Anderson.

He was born in Putnam County on June 26, 1936.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Chaffin Anderson; 2 daughters, Lori Diane Anderson of Baxter and Jennifer Carol Anderson of Knoxville, TN; 2 brothers, Bud Anderson of Columbia, SC and Richard Anderson of Leavingworth, Kansas.

Pallbearers were Dan Maxwell, Bob Dale Maxwell, Frank Medley, James Maddux, Larry Hugh Brown, Lawrence Richardson, Russell Dyer, and Bud Keisler.

BAXTER - Funeral services for Freddie Ray Anderson, 53, will be held today at 3 p.m. in the Baxter Chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Horne with burial in the Cooke Cemetery.

Mr. Anderson died Saturday (May 12, 1990) at his home in Baxter after an extended illness.

Born in Putnam County, June 26, 1936, he was the son of the late Fowler Davis and Mary Elizabeth Hall Anderson.

He was the owner of Anderson Insurance Company in Baxter.
His family inclues his wife Betty Jo Chaffin Anderson; two daughters,Lori Diane Anderson of Baxter and Jennifer Carol Anderson of Knoxville and two brothers, Bud Anderson of
Columbia, South Carolina and Richard Anderson of Leavenworth, Kansas.

Pallbearers are Dan and Bob Dale Maxwell, Frank Medley, James Maddux, Larry Hugh Brown, Lawrence Richardson, Russel1 Dyer and Bud Keisler.
